Feeling Snug

Happy Birthday to me! Creeping ever closer to the big three oh no. My other half gave me the above gorgeous necklace from Snug which I first saw and fell and love with on Pinterest. The wood is really tactile and the colours are beautiful. I also love their bird brooch and they have lots of cute homeware too which is worth checking out.

My sister took me to see Morrissey last night in Hawick town hall, quite a random but intimate venue, and he played a great mix of songs. And this evening I've just had the most decadent dinner at the local Ship on the Shore - we had the Fruits de Mer Royale with champagne followed by crème brûlée. Unsurprisingly I feel like I'm about to burst but it was amazing. So it's been a lovely birthday but I'm off to lay down on the couch with the ever essential fuzzy blanket for the rest of the evening, and possibly for the rest of the week.
